Coal mine blast kills 23 in northern China

Those damn coal mines again. I'm telling you people, it's just not safe to work hundreds of feet beneath the earth with explosive material and poisonous gases. Who knew?

A gas explosion at a coal mine in China`s northern Shanxi province has killed 23 workers and injured another 53, local mine authorities said Thursday.
