Baby Tossed Into Lake Represents Broader Epidemic

I was unaware that baby tossing had reached epidemic proportions.

A Brazilian mother who put her baby into a plastic bag and then tossed it into a lake is the latest example of new mothers who put their children in harm's way.
Simone da Silva was arrested and charged with attempted murder after a couple pulled the 2-month-old baby girl from Pampulha Lagoon in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Why a plastic bag? That's just overkill.

"I couldn't stay with her," Silva told police. "I did not have a minimum psychological condition to stay with her."

AHA! Truer words have never been spoken! I got a newsflash for you lady. You don't have the minimum psychological condition to put your shoes on, let alone raise a child.

A mother deliberately putting her child in harm's way is not uncommon. In the United States, more than 700 children are killed by their mother each year.

Who will protect us from our mothers? Think of the children! We need a mother patrol or some sort of mother safety device. Some group is going to start protesting against moms aren't they? I hate this planet I swear to fucking God.

Hey Mad Man lighten up, it worked for Moses didn't it. Maybe he'll grow up to be the new guy we pray to or he'll just rob the 7/eleven
like everyone else who is fished out of the lake when their mother doesn't know what to do with them.
I see we moved away from garage cans
