UPDATE: Boyfriend Charged In Cell Phone Assault

I had this story on the blog on Tuesday I think. I originally thought that the women had voluntarily swallowed the cell phone because...I don't know...maybe she spilled some BBQ sauce on it and she was really hungry. Now the boyfriend has been charged with shoving the phone down her throat.
Now there's a sentence I thought I'd never write.

The Missouri woman who was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs with a cell phone lodged in her throat may not have voluntarily swallowed the device.
“Subsequent investigation found that she didn’t swallow the cell phone voluntarily,” Police Sgt. Allen Kintz told the Associated Press. “Our initial press release was that she had swallowed a cell phone.”
The 24-year-old woman’s boyfriend has been charged with felony assault after he allegedly shoved the phone down his girlfriend’s throat in an argument.
The cell phone was removed from her throat by doctors at the hospital.

I've been mad before. Shit, I've been enraged before. I've been in many a bar fight. I fought hundreds of kids in high school when I was young and in shape and wouldn't pass out from throwing a punch. I've never gotten mad enough to shove a phone down someones throat.

Hey, if the boyfriend did do it though, I give him a A+ for originality.

Here's a link to the original story I posted on Tuesday. Esophagusphone.

Hey Mad Man! this story gets more and more unbelievable as time go's bye...but boy1 haven't we all been there ourselves...with me, it's been that jackass on the train conducting a business meeting or the seventeen year old explaining to her grilfriend how Johnny is fucking her over.

How many of us would like to shove a cell phone some where, in any hole on the body, with some of these inconsiderate jerks. If ever you were going to rag on a story, this is it
