Iran Nuclear Issue Escalates Toward Crisis

Now it's a crisis? I thought it was already a crisis? How does one measure whether something is a crisis? Who's call is that?

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) voted by a large majority on Feb. 4 to report Iran to the UN Security Council for its nuclear activities. The referral to the Security Council could lead to sanctions against Iran when the council takes up the case in March. A major crisis could result if Iran refuses to back down or takes retaliatory steps.

Ok apparently its the UN Security Councils call. Does anyone out there think that Iran is going to suddenly cooperate? What's really funny about all this is that it's almost guaranteed that after months of diplomacy and peaceful attempts to get Iran to halt their nuclear ambitions, numerous times they've been offered peaceful solutions like having Russia provide the nuclear power, when Iran does get bombed, and they will, they're going to say "See...the world hates Muslims".

Tehran responded to the IAEA vote by ending voluntary cooperation with intrusive IAEA inspections and ordering full-scale resumption of uranium enrichment at its Natanz plant.

Ah...so you went the non-confrontational route. Man you are SO asking for it. I mean, this is like a little kid who knows that they're not supposed to eat the cookie. They've been told "Don't eat the fucking cookie!" They've been offered fruit instead but noooooo, they want the cookie. Iran, put the fucking cookie down.

Bet that's the first time you read someone compare the Iranian nuclear crisis to cookies.

Give them all the nukes they want. Send them by 'Airmail'.

Here you go pyjama people, here's some Uranium 235 nuclear 'energy', you get it kinda 'all at once' but its half life is about 704 million years so it should keep you all going for a while.
