Iran claims Britain behind bombings in oil city

Whoa, yesterday I was sure they would blame Israel or, if not Israel at least the US, but Iran's thrown us a curve ball and blamed the Brits. Well played.

Iran on Wednesday directly accused Britain of equipping and directing those behind a twin bomb attack in the oil city of Ahvaz that killed eight people and wounded dozens more.

You know, if Britain had a history of bombing things I would agree with you guys but when I think about it...who really has the history of bombing things...it's not the British...who could it be?

Britain immediately dismissed the allegations.

That's just poppycock my good man! (Wouldn't it be funny if they really talked that way)

"The trace of Iraq's occupiers in the Ahvaz crimes are clear, and they must take responsibility," hardline President Mahmud Ahmadinejad told Iranian media.

Ahmadinejad, this might be a hard thing for you to hear, but you're own people want to kill you. Why? Maybe it's cause you're leading their nation down a path of war. Maybe. That'd be my guess at least. I know it's easier to blame the infidels but...you know what, nevermind. If you don't blame the real culprits then they're free to try and kill you again.

I say old chap, we DO speak that way, all the jolly time too. Maybe we should send Saddam/Uday Suck-up MP George Galloway to chat to them about the error of their ways, then again he'll probably become their best friend too and blame us Brits some more. Maybe we should bomb them just to make it even - double jeopardy kinda deal you know (and we wouldn't miss either).
