Death toll in Iran's twin bombings rises to 8

Terror attacks in Iran? This world is going down faster than a stripper with a coke habit. (Apologizes to all you young ladies taking your clothes off to pay for college)

Six people were killed and 40 wounded after two bombs went off in the southern Iranian city of Ahvaz on Tuesday, a spokesman of the governor's office in the Khuzestan province said.
Farokhi Nejad told the news network Khabar that one bomb exploded in a bank and the other in the government's natural resources department between 9:30 and 10 a.m. local time.

All the wounded were taken to local hospitals, while security officials had launched their investigations and would soon announce more details about the culprits, the spokesman said.

They'll be blaming Israel.

It is still unclear whether the explosions were connected to the scheduled visit by the president.

Somebody try and kill Ahmadinejad? That's crazy. Ahmadinejad's the best thing to happen to Iran since public executions and the best thing to happen to mock-news comedy since George Bush Jr. obtained the power of speech. Every time Ahmadinejad gets in front of a microphone or a camera you're guarenteed a comdeic goldrush of nuclear threats and insane ravings.

We're only a few weeks away from Ahmadinejad claiming that Allah shampooed his hair in the shower and that the American Revolutionary War never happened.
