Military plane hits building in Iran, killing at least 119

As an American, I'm a little torn as to how to feel about one of the Arab nations experiencing a tragedy such as this. It was 4 years ago that America had its own 'plane into building' catastrophe and most of us civilians weren't sure who to blame. Most of us lumped Bin Laden and his Al-Qaeda terror network with any Arab nation that clearly hated Westerners.

With Iran in the news lately as an upcoming serious nuclear problem and Iran's consistent 'throw-up-the-middle-finger' approach to international talks, one must wonder if this maybe karma. Of course, there's nothing to show that any of the victims in this crash were terrorists or terror supporters, or harbored any kind of ill-will towards the worlds masses but then again, neither did the people in the WTC or the Pentagon. (well, I can't be 100% sure about the Pentagon).

An Iranian military transport plane crashed into a 10-story apartment building in the suburbs of the capital Tehran on Tuesday, killing at least 119 people, according to state media and the city's mayor. All 94 passengers and crew of the plane were killed, the mayor of Tehran said. Tehran state radio said that of the building's residents, 25 people were killed and 15 were injured.

Some Americans will want to claim this as a victory against terrorism somehow. Some Americans will feel a sense of justice that an Arab nation is experiencing something somewhat, but quite different than what we experienced on Sept. 11th 2001. And this is what is wrong with the world.
