Police Catch Sunday School Teacher, 70, Stealing Baby Jesus

Christmas is a time for giving. A time to love thy fellow man and to celebrate to birth of Jesus. And then, to kidnap him.

A 70-year-old grandmother who teaches Sunday school is charged with stealing a baby Jesus statue from an Arkansas town's nativity scene.
She now faces up to a year in jail and a $5,000 fine for misdemeanor theft.
Virginia Voiers said, "Yes, I've been a bad girl."
She added that when she told her Methodist pastor that she took the baby Jesus statue, he told her, "Go and sin no more," but added, "You didn't tell them you are a Methodist, did you?"

I love this world. Only this world can give you the possiblity of a child saying, "Mommy, why did grandma steal Jesus?"
And hey, Virginia, you usually stop referring to yourself as a girl at age 67.
