Blast Near KFC in Karachi Kills 3

Mmm...extra crispy.

A powerful blast outside an American fast food restaurant killed 3 people and wounded at least 15 others in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi this morning. Who the hell has KFC for breakfast? The bomber was doing these people a favor and sparing them the massive coronary. I wouldn't be surprised if the explosion was caused by someone who had a bad reaction to a special sauce.
This is why I stay away from all those fast food joints. One way or another they will kill you.

"This is an act of terrorism and apparently the KFC was the target," Manzoor Mughal, who specializes in the obvious and happens to be chief of investigation for Karachi police said. KFC was the target...I wonder if Manzoor knows how ironic that statement is to us Americans considering we have a store named Target.

"Indications are that extremist and militant organizations could be involved in the blast," said Salahuddin Haider, spokesman for the Sindh provincial government in Karachi. Well don't go ruling out the girl scouts just yet. I heard KFC is a big rival for their cookie empire. Why does every official in Pakistan need to state the obvious when interviewed?
"Yes this fireball was caused by an explosion which was followed by a loud bang and there was a mess."
Tell me something I don't know. Like what kind of sandwiches do they sell in a Pakistani KFC?
