Tigers blame military for rebel killing

A rebel group is blaming the government for killing rebels. Isn't that what they are supposed to do? Don't rebel if you can't take the heat there guys.

Sri Lanka's armed forces have rejected an accusation from Tamil Tiger rebels that the government was behind the assassination of a senior rebel officer.

Don't deny it, even if it isn't true. I would be like, yes, we killed the senior rebel officer because he was a senior rebel officer and that's bad. So we killed him. If he had not been a senior rebel officer, maybe we wouldn't have killed him. Maybe we should write this down for you.

The killing came a day after the Tamil rebels and the government agreed to resume peace talks.

Well isn't it obvious they didn't want that ONE senior rebel officer to take part in the peace talks? I don't know much about Sri Lanka politics, I know nothing of their government or these Tamil Tigers (cool name, much cooler than Al-Qaeda or Lashkar-e-Toiba or one of those) so I won't play sides. I will say when you rebel against a government you're inviting yourself to be killed.
If rebellions were easy I wouldn't be at work today. (not sure what that means but I don't want to go to work)
