Sexual harassment common on US campus

So is casual sex, threesomes, drunken orgies and sexual experimentation. Can't have those without the occasional harassments. I've seen those Girls Gone Wild commericals. College is like ancient Rome without the togas (well, sometimes with the togas)

A national survey conducted by the American Association of University Women has found that sexual harassment is common on campus, with 62 percent of college students complaining about having received inappropriate comments or gestures.

You're talking about young kids whose hormones are going at a quicker pace than the midnight olympic dash at the Mexican / US border. Of course people are going to get harassed. Now, if rape and sexual assault were becoming more common on campus then that's something I would want to hear about. That's a problem. College is supposed to get people ready for the real world (it doesn't though, college is fun, real world, not so fun) You can't get by in the real world without having someone make a inappropiate comment or gesture at you. Got to learn to ignore that shit.

Of the millions of people who have agreed to participate in online surveys, a random sample was selected to be offered a questionnaire on college experiences. The roughly 2,000 18- to 24-year-old college students who responded to the survey in May were told that sexual harassment was unwanted behavior and could include anything from suggestive glances to spreading sexual rumors and forced contact.

Suggestive glances? What if you got a booger hanging or something? Grow up people. If you're so bothered by the opposite sex, or same sex, finding you attractive and attempting to court you then join a convent or, I don't know, stop doing your hair in the morning or stop brushing your teeth.
