Hawaii's Beaches Covered with Homeless

Odd. We use sand on the mainland.

Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann on Monday gave homeless people who live in parks along the Waianae Coast about two months notice to move out.

It's nice to give them notice at least. Considering they don't actually LIVE there.

The city plans major renovations at parks there -- possibly as soon as September. The construction work would require the homeless to leave at least temporarily.

Then you can move back in. Hawaii sure is nice.
