Iran Official Recasts Holocaust Comments

This is going to be priceless.

The Iranian president's widely condemned remarks about Israel and the Holocaust were "misunderstood" by Western governments, Iran's interior minister said Friday.

Oh, our mistake. We thought when you said that Israel should be wiped off the map and then you said you doubted the the Holocaust ever happened and that Israel should be moved to Germany or Austria you meant you didn't like Israel and wished it harm and that you didn't think the genocide of the Jewish people in the 1940's occured. Silly us. Please, tell us what you really meant.

Mostafa Pur Mohammadi told The Associated Press: "Actually the case has been misunderstood. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad id not mean to raise this matter.

What, was he off his meds? What do you mean he didn't 'mean' to raise the matter? You don't accidentally start talking about the destruction and relocation of an entire country. And as for the doubting the Holocaust, he said that twice. So either he meant to say it or he's got multiple personality disorder.

"He wanted to say that if certain people have created troubles for the Jewish community they should bear the expenses, and it is not others who should pay for that."

I have a feeling this is all going to be resolved real soon anyway. It's going to involve a couple of really loud bangs, followed by some bigger bangs and then that land that's so freaking holy to everyone over there is going to be unihabitable for everyone.
